Studio Assistant – Architects Practice


Salary £22,680

We are looking for an experienced Assistant to work in a friendly team supporting a successful architectural practice. You will need to be professional with strong communications skills and a flexible attitude, willing to undertake a variety of work.

Key Responsibilities

Front of House

  • Book and manage meeting rooms
  • Working alongside part time receptionist to be the first point of contact to all visitors, offering a personal greeting and assistance as required
  • Communicate with teams and visitors
  • Assist with the security of the office and ensuring all visitors sign in
  • Purchase items on behalf of the team/studio, in line with financial procedures
  • Other administrative tasks as requested e.g. booking travel, couriers etc.
  • Meeting Room Management Book and manage meeting rooms
  • Act as eyes and ears for the support team, keeping them up-to-date with any last minute changes to meetings/visitors
  • Ensure all meeting rooms are clean, well-stocked and set up prior to each meeting
  • Prepare all refreshments for all meetings, ordering breakfast/lunch as necessary
  • Set up equipment in the meeting spaces
  • Assist guests with questions and queries, as necessary


  • Assisting Studio Manager with H&S duties
  • Carry out work experience inductions
  • Educated to A’ Level standard
  • Minimum of two years in a similar role is essential
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook
