We are currently recruiting for a highly experienced Sales Manager for an Office Supplies Business based in Bristol.  Our client is a one stop solution for office based businesses and are looking for an individual who has had exposure to the stationery industry previously.  The company covers the whole of the UK and are looking to accelerate the growth that they are already experiencing by securing more of the market through effective sales strategies.

This is a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager looking to take their career to the next level.  There are great progression prospects in this role and within the company for the right person.  The office is busy so you must be able to work well under pressure.  The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong desire to work within a sales environment; they will be highly motivated, organised, be commercially aware and possess good managerial skills.   The role needs an individual who will demonstrate a commitment to business development and have a genuine interest in their personal as well as the company’s growth.

The commission structure is very exciting and flexible with a percentage of net profits being issued to the Manager as an incentive to expand the business wherever possible.

TASKS / DUTIES

  • Generating new business
  • Recruiting and training sales staff
  • Managing a small team of telesales executives
  • Develop sales strategies and setting targets for sales team
  • Compiling and analysing sales figures, monitoring the team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets
  • Providing feedback and coaching to the sales team
  • Keeping up to date with market trends and competitors
  • Reporting back directly to the Managing Director

The company use a back office system called Prima Software and experience on this would certainly be beneficial but is not essential.
