The Role

This position is for part time cover for some planned absences in their production team.

The role is for a Production/Shipping Administrator to work between 20-25 hours a week and is likely to last 5-6 months.  Salary of £22K is pro rata based on 37.5 hours a week.

The Production/Shipping Administrator is responsible for making the production run smoothly.  Processing orders, scheduling production and manufacture and being responsible for shipping goods around the world.

Working with the Director of Operation and working closely with the engineering team, the production technician and their shipping agents.

The Person

The successful candidate will need to be personable, interested in the work they do and be proficient in Excel.  A keen eye for detail and process is essential, but so is a can-do attitude to solving problems innovatively.  Experience in forwarding/international logistics, particularly with Customs procedures would be very beneficial, but not essential.
