Part time People & HR Advisor
Salary: c. £35K pro rata doe + benefits
Hours: negotiable from c. 22.5 hours to 32 hours per week ideally over 4 days
Central Bristol (hybrid working)
This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to work for an SME creative tech company in central Bristol with super offices and a lovely team environment. This is a standalone generalist HR role with lots of variety.
Main responsibilities:
- Maintain and keep up to date employee policies,
- Work closely with the CEO and Finance Manager
- End to end management of recruitment process
- All HR administration
- Manage the on-boarding and off-boarding processes by working closely with the operations team
- Responsible for the HR database on Bamboo HR
- Provide high quality, efficient and best practice focused HR advisory service to managers on a range of HR policies and procedures
- Provide HR advice and support in relation to disciplinaries, grievances, recruitment and selection, sickness absence, performance management and training and development
- Build relationships with senior leaders/managers at all levels to develop a good understanding of their work to be able to offer solutions
- Work with the Finance Manager to submit payroll adjustments and approval of payroll reports each month
- Produce monthly and ad-hoc people reports for key stakeholders
The Person:
We are looking for an experienced People and HR Advisor or Co-ordinator working for a similar sized company with CIPD level 3 or above. Ideally you would have worked in a creative company previously and be confident with MAC and google suite. You will need a strong understanding of employment law & legislation and the ability to interpret and apply policies in line with best practice. A confident, friendly person with excellent communication and organisational skills would suit this role.
