We are currently recruiting for a part time HR/Recruitment Assistant for our client based in Portishead.
The hours of work will be around 15-20 hours a week with flexible working days and time.
There will also be the opportunity to take on more responsibilities and work more hours if the successful candidate has the skills and wishes to do so.
The job will initially be remote working but going forward you will need to be able to work some days in the office when required.
The Role:
As a part time HR Assistant, you will look after 5 office based staff, 8 full time on site electricians, and a number of regular subcontract electricians.
You will also manage the recruitment of further staff for the team, so recruitment experience is necessary.
Duties will include:
- Manage/support the recruitment of onsite electricians
- Provide first-line support and advice to managers
- Assisting in annual performance reviews
- Monitor, write and review HR policies
- Monitor/book the relevant training
- General HR duties
The successful candidate must be able to work alone and as part of a team and should have Professional communication skills.
We are looking for someone who has worked in a similar role previously.
A HR qualification would be desirable for this position.
