TV Production Company

One year’s fixed term contract could extend

Salary up to £30K

We have a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager from a creative or administration background to join our amazing client, a highly successful award-winning TV Production company in Bristol. They have a fantastically talented, friendly and growing team and are now looking for someone to help manage the operational side of the business to ensure things run smoothly and support their highly inspirational team. Working from their modern offices based in the heart of Bristol, this role would suit someone who has a warm personality, is solution driven and would enjoy bringing positive ideas to the table. The successful candidate doesn’t necessarily need a background in TV but experience or a passion for all things creative would be preferable. This role would not suit someone looking to move into TV production however.

The job role

Office Management
Fire risk assessment including fire warden training when needed
First point of contact for office utilities ensuring best tariffs.
Liaise with landlord, security, cleaners, window-cleaners etc.
Manage allocation of parking spaces
Sort ancillary office stuff – phones, printers, fire alarms etc.
Source office furniture and organise re-decoration

IT Management
Sort all team IT and any additional office kit required
Liaise with external IT Consultants re IT issues

New joiners
Organise IT and inductions for new joiners
General company orientation and briefing/introductions
Manage seating plan

Office safety and security
Keep office first aid kit contents up to date, check fire extinguishers are in-date
Oversee rota for runners to open and lock up
Point of contact for alarm

Financial reporting
Seek sign-off on spend from Head of Finance

Line-management of Runners and/or Receptionist
Run the rota
Regular 1-to-1 meetings

Company Initiatives & Events
Manage work experience & internships.
Research outreach/diversity programmes and government schemes and oversee them
Plan, budget and oversee company events
