This is a great opportunity for a Data Analyst to join a highly successful discretionary investment management company providing investment management services financial planning solutions to private clients. They are privately owned with 3 offices in the UK, a channel islands regulated subsidiary and one on-shore and two off-shore fund entities.

The successful candidate will be an ambitious quick learner suited to a varied and hands-on role. You will be working within a team of three, in a dynamic fast-growing and innovative business at the cutting edge of the wealth management and financial services industry, where everyone feels part of the team and can have fun.

Key responsibilities include:

Working to improve processes and automation across this newly-formed department

  • Developing and maintaining systems for data input and import
  • Working with two CRM systems and focussing on synchronisation and consistency between the two
  • Checking and monitoring data feeds from external sources including holdings, transactions, pricing feeds and book costs
  • Creating and maintaining error reporting and data audit tools
  • Ongoing feedback and training across the business in data hygiene
  • Roll out of self-checking tools and improving culture of data ownership within individual teams
  • Developing and maintaining workflows
  • Systems improvements and testing
  • Manage client reporting processes including periodic valuations and policy summaries
  • Data export for internal stakeholders
  • Liaison with software providers and other external stakeholders


Advanced MS Excel skills are essential

  • Knowledge of MS Access advantageous
  • Logical mind
  • Attention to detail
  • This role links very closely with the Finance department so any related experience useful
  • Experience within the financial services industry
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
