Up to £23K plus benefits

We have just been asked to find an experienced Accounting Software Support Consultant Team Leader to join our client’s expanding team based in North West Bristol. The successful candidate will have an accountancy background and preferable an AAT qualification or a number of years in a finance department and understand accounts inside out.

The successful Accounting Software Support Consultant Team Leader will have fantastic customer service skills and the ability to communicate at all levels. You will have a unique opportunity to help with the future roadmaps of the software, as well as be the voice of the customer within the team. You will be logging issues (email, website and phone), giving advice and be the main point of contact between customers and all other departments within our organisation.

This role requires a real customer services focus with the ability to multi task whilst demonstrating excellent administration skills. The successful Accounting Software Support Consultant Team Leader will take an ownership approach and juggle the multitude of daily tasks whilst remaining calm at all times. You will also be providing training to customers on their issues remotely and possibly on site. There are opportunities for progression in the role for the right candidate.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Logging and resolving new support calls reported via telephone and email
  • Monitor Application Support helpdesk queue and respond to calls within SLA’s
  • Training / Coaching / Providing solutions for customers remotely and possibly on site
  • Resolving user queries regarding use of our applications
  • Log and process requests for changes / enhancements
  • Updating and managing Knowledge base
  • Testing of product
  • Liaise with customers, departments, and ensure everyone is updated
