Responsibilities

Your job will be very varied including:

  • Data input, data extraction, photocopying, filing and typing duties
  • Dealing with internal and external post and emails on a day to day basis
  • Supporting the team to maintain accurate, timely and legible records
  • Dealing with queries, both face to face and via the telephone
  • Meeting and greeting visitors as required
  • Maintaining filing systems
  • Assisting with the ordering and maintenance of stock supplies
  • Developing professional relationships with referring organisations.
  • Collating information for reports
  • Communicating with staff about training provision and booking training courses for staff
  • Attending and taking part in team meetings & regular reviews with line manager
  • Preparing for and attending assessment meetings and participating in relevant training programmes
  • Assisting with the administration process associated with service audits
  • Adhering to local and national Health and Safety regulations

Skills & Experience Required

What will YOU be doing?

You’ll be reporting directly to the Project Team Lead, helping to plan execute and deliver all digital projects to the best that they can possibly be.

 

You’ll spend time talking to all stakeholders, liasing with clients and co-ordinating the creative and digital teams to make sure that all things digital are up and running to your clients’ specifications.

 

You’ll spend your time:

 

  • Getting a handle on the clients’ aims, business and market to help deliver creative commercial solutions
  • Producing wireframes with the team of interactive designers
  • Working with account teams to define project requirements, schedules and budget
  • Creating project plans that grow and adapt to meet changing requirements
  • Following quality assurance procedures, identifying any risks to your projects and ensuring documentation is in order
  • Coordinating the testing plan/QA/user acceptance procedure
  • Working confidentially with the clients’ information
  • Holding regular status meetings with the project teams and/or clients

 

You must have:

 

  • A general understanding of the principles and processes involved in we-development, web-based application programming, database and system design
  • A knowledge of internet, intranet, extranet and server structures
  • A sound working knowledge of content management systems, ideally Drupal
  • The ability to use email and internet applications and a strong proficiency in the Microsoft suite including Microsoft Project
  • The techie knowledge of operating a Mac OS-X system

Learning and Development Assistant – 28K pro rata – 4 days a week

Our wonderful client, a leading law firm in Bristol, is looking for a Learning and Development Assistant to join their team of assistants who organise and take responsibility for all the administrative aspects of the L&D department and to contribute to the project work of the wider department.

This role is on a part-time basis, 28 hours and 4 days a week which must include Tuesday.

What will you be doing?

  • All scheduling for learning programmes including booking meeting rooms, managing guest lists, liasing with speakers, producing materials, booking catering, setting up technical equipment and managing post-course evaluation
  • Management of learning programmes across the company, ensuring all learning elements work smoothly together and provide a good user experience. Where required, this will also involve accurate data recording to test return on investment
  • Assisting department managers with admin tasks relating to off-site training programmes such as booking venues and may involve some off-site attendance
  • Organising and managing one on one coaching
  • Managing day to day expenses and budgeting
  • Diary management for the L&D team
  • Document and slideshow preparation for training programmes
  • Managing meetings and producing minute
  • Occasionally testing new technology to learn the system and allow for a smooth launch
  • Using different software for metrics and measurement of learning programmes

You must have:

  • Very strong administrative and organisational skills
