Sophie’s Blog Number 1 – An Exciting start to the sabbatical!

Thought I would let you all know how things are going! I have passed my Padi exam with 92% after just over a week of studying and practical skills testing this means I can dive up to 18 metres with my own equipment now. The picture here is me doing my confined water dive training! Really chuffed as I get to see a complete different world under the sea with a scuba buddy of course for Health and Safety ha ha!!
Went to Thailand for a couple of weeks, Krabi then Ko Samui just a bit of a holiday really but got to see some Thai kick boxing which was impressive and met some local people who took me to some waterfalls. It rained for 8 days nonstop before I got there so it looked amazing and was great for cooling off from the heat.

Passed my Philippine driving test today also and had my first ride on a Harley Davidson, wow what a bike! Sunset across the bay – it was fantastic with all the boats lit up in the port with the mountain in the background, truly beautiful.

I will be getting flight to Palawan province soon so keep you posted…

Much love as always; miss you guys
